Pre employment drug testing
It is vital for both your company and your employees that anyone you decide to have working for you is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs whilst in the workplace. Drug abuse has spiralled in the last few years, especially with the introduction of ‘P’ or pure methamphetamine, into the New Zealand market, and when you combine recreational or illegal drugs with machinery or equipment, the results can be lethal.
Here at Advance Diagnostics, we have been helping New Zealand employers to screen their workers for drugs and alcohol since 2003. We provide instant drug testing where the results can be available within a matter of minutes. Our products to not require specialist training to use and they are extremely accurate. You do not need to add any reagents to the test samples and our products have a long shelf life.

Some of the most common drugs we test for include marijuana (THC), amphetamines, cocaine, morphine (heroin) and PCP. Together they make up the NIDA 5 panel, which is the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Each drug has a different drug detection period, which is the amount of time the drug stays in the person’s system. We can provide you with more information about the various drug detection periods for each drug.
